Full Part Numbers Are More Important Than Abbreviations
Retain known fields such as brand, part number suffix, package, and temperature grade. Do not replace the full part number with series names such as “STM32” or “power IC” alone.

Record Batches and Conditions Separately
List different date codes, batches, opened/unopened status, and quantities of the same part number separately. Label photos should correspond to list line numbers.
Discontinuation Does Not Necessarily Mean Appreciation
Whether it can circulate should be determined based on specific demand, alternative parts, traceability documentation, and physical condition. Lifecycle status should be verified against original manufacturer documentation.
Prepare inventory information that can be checked
MCUs, analog chips, logic devices, and discontinued ICs are verified by full part number. A preliminary review of submitted information and a final physical inspection are separate steps.
- Manufacturer, full part number, quantity and count date
- Lot / date code, packaging and opened status
- Location, list version and representative label photos
